Sleeping in a tent to survive

Here’s a novel marketing idea from a hotel in San Diego, California:  to charge for each amenity.
That means the luxury  Inn is offering rooms for US$19 a night if you’re willing to give up breakfast, air conditioning, lights, sheets and even a bed.

Yes, you can sleep in a tent. The hotel staff will remove the mattress and headboard and provide the tent.

“Oh, and they advise you to bring your own toilet paper,”
General manager John Gates says the hotel hopes people who try the “Survivor’s Package” promotion will return at full price.
The offer is good through to the end of the August.
